Driving Directions to Shuswap Vacation Rentals (Scotch Creek Cottages)
From Vancouver:
Take the Trans Canada Highway to Hope. At this point you have a choice of the Coquihalla Highway or the Trans Canada Highway to Kamloops.
Coquihalla Highway is a four-lane easy drive. The Trans Canada Highway is a very beautiful drive through the Fraser Canyon, but is substantially longer.
From Kamloops:
Take the Trans Canada Highway past Chase and the Little Shuswap Lake. Right after the Little Shuswap lake watch for signs that show the North Shore recreation area, Scotch Creek, Celista, and Anglemont. You will make a right turn up a hill and circle onto the bridge that takes you over the highway and across the river.
From Calgary and Salmon Arm:
Follow the Trans Canada Highway, through Sorrento and along side of the lake and river. Watch for the signs that direct you across the Squilax Bridge to the North Shore, Anglemont and Celista. From the TCHighway you will be making a left hand turn onto the road that takes you up a hill and onto the bridge that goes over the highway and across the river.
For Everyone:
You follow this highway for approximately 19 km. On your way you will pass by the turn off for the Quaaout Lodge, (where you can learn a little history of our native people), the turn off for Adams Lake, and the turn off for the Haig Brown Park. You will go over the new two lane bridge across the Adams River (our world famous salmon run river) and a one-lane (yield to the on coming traffic) bridge over the Scotch Creek just before you arrive at the town of Scotch Creek. As you enter Scotch Creek, on the right is the fire hall, and a small shopping plaza with pharmacy and the medical office, and on the left is the new Super Valu Grocery Store. The main highway bends to the left. Follow this main road around bend andthen make the first right just past the Home Hardware on Jordan Way, towards the lake.Drive to the end of Jordan, and turn left on to Express Point Road. Our address is 4044 Express Point Road; we do have a sign at our entrance which is on the right hand side of the road.
