Close to your Shuswap Lake Cabin at Scotch Creek Cottages Resort

Shuswap Lake Provincial Park is a great place to take the kids for a bike ride or just a change of park scenery while staying at Scotch Creek Cottages.

The park contains park like areas, camping sites (if you have friends tenting or trailering) there are also many trails, parking and boat launch area. The Shuswap Lake Provincial Park also has an additional playground area as well as its own beach area, if you prefer to have a chance to enjoy the lake from more than one location during your stay at the resort.

The park also has a great group site which has been utilized several times by groups having reunions etc. with their camping or RVing family and friends. This allows for the option of some family staying in the luxury of the Cabins at Scotch Creek Cottages while getting together with the rest of there family, friends or sometimes work mates at the group site.

Within minutes of Scotch Creek either walking or driving you can be right in the park exploring this heavily wooded area.

There are also opportunities to rent pedal bikes and cars from the Park Store across from the park for use in the area.

the Shuswap Lake Provincial Park is a large area of Scotch Creek and also includes the area of Copper Island. On the island there are hiking trails which lead right up to the top of the island to see one of the best views in the area. This can be reached by boat or even by kayak or canoe in the quieter times of the year. We do have rentals of all these items available right from Scotch Creek Cottages.
